Meet Our Members - John Rubey

John was born in Coronado, CA and graduated from San Diego State University with a BS in Business Administration with an Emphasis in Marketing.  John started his career with Wallace, a national printing company, and quickly became one of the top sales reps in the country, specializing in Major Account Development.  In 2007, Mr. Rubey Co-Founded Square Peg Packaging & Printing, a leading value added packaging and printing company, specializing in the beverage (Beer, Wine, Spirts, Soda, Coffee) markets. 

In August of 2014, Square Peg Packaging and Printing was acquired by Saxco International, LLC the market leader in the distribution of rigid packaging for the liquor, wine and beer industries. John currently manages the sales for Saxco’s packaging and printing division for North America. 

John and his wife Allie believe in the value of strong relationships and being connected to, and giving back to their community.  John and Allie donate time to local non-profits, schools, and other non profit organizations as they actively raise their two young children Alanna, and Chase. 

He currently resides in Carlsbad, CA where he enjoys spending time with his family, camping, watching live music, and traveling.
